Fly Rugs
Fly sheets, or fly rugs, are used to protect the horse against flies or other insects while they are at grass. Fly sheets are made of a mesh material that is fine and lightweight. Fly rugs also have a protective belly flap that is fastened to both sides of the rug.
There are fly sheets available that have other protective features as well, such as neck covers or matching fly masks or bonnets. These features are typically removable.
