Have you got your horse rugs sorted?

I don't know about you guys but here at BritishSaddlery.co.uk we can't get over the weather! If you think back to last winter we're currently doing pretty well! Here in Shropshire we had a month of temperatures around -20 last year so to us this is practically tropical! Regardless of the temperature your will need good horse rugs so make sure you are prepared throughout the winter. It's worth while getting a few different horse rugs which are a combination of light,medium and heavy weight rugs so that you can rug your horse up according to the temperature. Some people put one rug on and it is left on throughout the winter but the problem with this is that your horse can get very hot or very cold throughout a lot of the season. In addition to the weight of the horse rugs we would also look out for the denier count. The higher the better. Although it may cost you more for a rug with a high denier count it's well worth it as it's less lightly to rip and it will last for a lot longer.
