Get a fly rug

A fly rug is an important item in your horses wardrobe and if you haven't currently got a fly rug we'd strongly recommend you getting one. Not only do they obviously protect your horse from the flies but they can come in extremely handy in many other ways. A fly rug can also protect your horse from pollen irritations which can affect lots of horses. Along with this they can protect grey horses with pink pigmentation from the sun rays. Along with this they can also be used to protect your horse from light rain in the summer if it's too warm to put a summer turnout on them. On several occasions we've also used a fly rug in a stable to protect the horse from getting stable stains before a competition. It's great if it's too hot to put a fleece on them.
